Journey to the West: If We Can't Beat the Monkey, Should Nezha Go Fetch the Sutras?

After transmigrating as Sun Wukong, he defies fate by shattering Li Jing's Exquisite Pagoda, and the entire world of Journey to the West changes dramatically.

At the Peach Banquet, not only is the Great Sage Equal to Heaven there, fresh from his Havoc in Heaven, but Third Prince Nezha is also hunting down Li Jing.

After the Peach Banquet, Nezha is imprisoned in Southern Jambudvipa.

Unable to defeat Sun Wukong, the Buddhists can only imprison Nezha beneath Five Elements Mountain, then guide him on the Journey to the West five hundred years later.

And so, a series of scenes unfolds along the journey west.

After the tightening headband is put on, Nezha says, "You bald monk, how dare you ambush me? I'll crack my own skull open today if that's what it takes to kill you!"

At Eagle's Sorrow Ravine, Nezha says, "That's a white dragon? I haven't forgotten how to rip out a dragon's sinews!"

At Spirit Mountain, Nezha says, "You bald monk, you dare demand a bribe from me? Do you think my sword isn't sharp enough?"
