Genshin Impact: This Retired Sword Immortal Really Doesn't Want to Return to Work

After ascending to Teyvat, retired sword immortal Lin Jing finally gets the quiet life he always wanted: basking in the sun, raising fish, collecting tuition, and teaching swordsmanship.

But because he's so lazy, hardly anyone seems to believe Lin Jing really is a great sword immortal.

Eula is determined to become his apprentice and junior sister, Ningguang spares no expense trying to get his "master" to come out of retirement, and even Zhongli says he'd like to make the acquaintance of this so-called master.

Lin Jing's only response to all this is, "Yeah, sure, sure."

For the sake of a quiet life, is there anything wrong with his master, who's been dead for hundreds of years, suddenly coming back to life? Not at all!

But in this world, gods and demons rise together, the Heavenly Principles are unjust, and living beings suffer.

Unable to stay out of it, Lin Jing eventually picks up his sword again.

For the sake of all the people in the world, and as a return to work after retirement, I, Lin Jing, retired sword immortal, shall strike once more!

One sword swings, and **demons scatter! A point of the blade, and a golden age appears!
