Three thousand years ago, in ancient times, humans, the Yi Tribe, and demons all lived in the world. Humans were the most practical of the races. They devoted themselves to production and labor, and trained valiant warriors. The Yi Tribe excelled at communicating with spirits. They had mastered medicine-making and all kinds of spells, and trained sorcerers. The demons, on the other hand, were a predatory race. They were cruel and bloodthirsty, attacking humans and draining their life essence, then stealing the Yi Tribe's spirit herbs to aid their cultivation. At last, the humans and the Yi Tribe could bear it no longer and joined forces to seal the demons away in locations throughout the world. But three thousand years later, those seals have weakened. The demons are about to break free, and I, Su Xinyou, am the reincarnation of Yan Yaoluo Zhilu, a demon from that era. Now I must shoulder my responsibility and seal the demons once more...
