Notes from a Strange Town

As someone who loves history and reading, I had one goal from childhood: to decipher the two history books passed down through my family. After starting university, I visited Ningxia one summer, a place famed as the "Jiangnan beyond the Great Wall." During the trip, the vehicle I was riding in was attacked by hungry wolves. My three friends and I fled in panic, then stumbled into a sandstorm and unexpectedly arrived in a strange town. There, the four of us encountered a series of people and events beyond anything we had ever heard of or could imagine, as if we had entered a bizarre world. And what helped me escape that strange town and return to reality were none other than those two history books from my family. It turned out everything was fate, predestined from the start. I often think back on that fantastical experience, and sometimes even I can't tell whether everything I went through was real or something I imagined...
