A Vengeful Ghost Breaks into a Taoist Temple, Only to Be Delivered by the Sound of Sutras

My name is Zhang Xuanyu.

I transmigrated to a parallel world and inherited a Taoist temple.

Life was exhausting in my previous life, so this time around, all I want is to lie flat and be a good Taoist priest.

But things spiraled out of control after I found the Yangping Zhidu Gong Seal.

It seems I accidentally inherited the position of Celestial Master of the Taoist faith.

My name is Xu Yourong. The Ghost King sent me a betrothal letter, but nobody believes me.

In the end, I came to the Tianxin Taoist Temple on Mount Qingniu. The chanting that drifted out of the temple put my mind at ease.

I knew I had found the right place, but I didn't dare interrupt the master's chanting.

So I leaned against the doorway and, for the first time in ages, fell into a deep sleep.

When I woke up, I found a whole procession of paper figures carrying a paper sedan chair toward me.

Terrified, I cried for help and ran into the temple.

The paper figures rushed in after me, but the moment they entered the temple, they clapped their hands over their ears and turned to ash in agony.

The master's chanting had actually delivered them from suffering.

And me? I was saved!!!
