Journey to the West: I, Xuanzang, Am the First to Exorcise with Physical Force

Chen Yan wakes up and discovers that he has transmigrated into the world of Journey to the West, becoming the tenth incarnation of Jin Chanzi, Tang Sanzang!

He has barely woken up and figured out what's going on when the Tang Emperor invites him to preside over a Water and Land Dharma Assembly and deliver the Jing River Dragon King from suffering!

"Preach a sermon? I can't even recognize all the Buddhist scriptures. What am I supposed to preach?"

Only after climbing onto the cloud platform does Chen Yan realize that he isn't the real Tang Sanzang at all, but a fake monk.

Fortunately, the System arrives just in time. After awakening the System for the strongest battle mage, Chen Yan looks at the Jing River Dragon King before him and smiles.

"Deliver him from suffering? A good old-fashioned beating counts too!"

From then on, an oddball who punches Sun Wukong and kicks Zhu Bajie is born on the Journey to the West!

"Amitabha Buddha. This humble monk has come from the Great Tang in the Eastern Lands. I request that the Buddha Tathagata abdicate!"

Years later, Chen Yan arrives at the Great Thunderclap Temple in the Western Paradise, looks at Tathagata seated upon a golden lotus, and speaks.
