I Write Web Novels in Japan

As the saying goes, Chinese web fiction is ten years ahead of the industry.

Liu Yang, a struggling writer, scoffed at the claim.

Different audiences meant vastly different genres and styles.

You couldn't expect Japanese otaku, whose economy had collapsed and who had completed the entire cycle of rat race before choosing to lie flat, to accept stories about decisive, resolute cultivators. They'd already left the game to **win or lose.

Likewise, if you wrote about the everyday life of a high school club in China, there was a ninety-nine percent chance your story would flop.

Because clubs that truly deserved the name only existed in college, and many of them were full of idiots like the upperclassmen who came to check whether you were in your dorm.

"But... it's actually great!"

After transmigrating, Xia Zhiming said with a look of wonder, holding an invincible-protagonist story in his left hand and a good-for-nothing-protagonist story in his right.

This novel and its characters are entirely fictional. Any resemblance to actual persons or events is purely coincidental. Do not imitate.
