Mythical Qin: I Really Don't Want to Be Emperor

After transmigrating to the Great Qin Dynasty, Jiang Chen became Fusu, son of Qin Shi Huang, Ying Zheng.

After advising the emperor against burning books and burying scholars alive, he was sent to the border to oversee General Meng Tian's construction of the Great Wall and defend against the Xiongnu.

In 210 BCE, Qin Shi Huang traveled east to Penglai in search of immortality. He fought an immortal from Penglai, suffered severe injuries, and died.

An imperial edict reached the frontier.

"Crown Prince Fusu and General Meng Tian are abusing their military power at the border and have failed to repel the Xiongnu. They are to be executed!"

Meng Tian: ????

Jiang Chen: "Go to hell!"

After executing the messenger, all Jiang Chen wanted was to live freely at the frontier.

Unexpectedly, the Xiongnu invaded, while the court remained in turmoil.

Caught between troubles at home and abroad, Jiang Chen found himself stuck in the middle.

At last, one day, a loyal minister journeyed to the frontier and knelt before Fusu. "Your Highness, Hu Hai is incompetent and tyrannical, while Li Si and Zhao Gao have thrown the court into chaos. Please return and become emperor."

Jiang Chen: "Sorry, I don't want to be emperor. Whoever wants the job can take it."
