Asking the Sword at Kunlun

With a single thought, the sword roams free; with a single strike, heaven and earth tremble. We were never ordinary people of this mortal world. We devote ourselves to the Dao and seek eternal life. Yet the masses are so foolish, doing nothing but obstructing my path to immortality.

A slow-burn novel. First, a word of warning: the person who appears in Chapter One is not the protagonist, but his father. The protagonist is someone born burdened by a blood feud, what a clichéd backstory, haha. His father was killed by a Kunlun Mountain cultivator, and his mother was imprisoned by cultivators from Kunlun Mountain. He was raised by his grandmaster, who was actually his grandfather, but was never taught to seek revenge. He does not even know his own past. He only devotes himself to cultivating immortality, hoping to live forever and ascend to the heavens. But fate has other plans, and again and again he is forced to take up his sword and fight...

This novel and its characters are entirely fictional. Any resemblance to actual people or events is purely coincidental. Do not imitate.
