When talking about novels, we cannot do without the three elements of novels: characters, plot, and environment. Let us analyze the following three points. Let's talk about the protagonist Tang Wan first. No one is perfect. Regarding this point, I guess the author didn't want to create a particularly awesome, bombing day-type character. But the author is very flesh-and-blood, and the growth path of the protagonist is very clear. Everyone thinks that he is a time traveler. In March to the Republic of China, he suddenly transitioned from a Taiping dog to a war era. For Chinese people, the first priority must be to save life. This is also similar to the character of the protagonist at the beginning, but there will always be a day when trouble comes to you, especially in an era like this, the protagonist's growth begins. After experiencing the incidents related to Danniu Sijin and Li Xiangling, I feel that he has actually grown up and become more mature, and the protagonist's character is full of positive energy, which is very commendable. As for other characters like Chen Zhongpu, Bai Sha, Qian Xuan, and Lu Xun, the author did not mention modifying their characters. This is similar to what we understand in the textbook, which can give people a great sense of substitution. Let's talk about the plot. As a novel, the plot is the most important part. It is also a very critical part to attract readers. The author's plot is very fascinating, whether it is the "gags" between literati or ordinary chats and work. Or the description of the environment, there is something to be said for it. I think the author of the former is very good, but the latter is not very good, and the author cannot be overly demanding. Maybe his literary level is not that high. Description is a very important part of the embedded novel, which can enhance the atmosphere and lead the emotions. But unfortunately, when I look at the author's description of the environment, it does not make me feel this way. The author's description is mainly used to transform the plot, not to exaggerate emotions. Third, the environment, I want to give a bad review on this point. I can say that your description of the environment is not good, but you are so good in other aspects, which makes you really poor in this aspect. Whether it is the description of the street scene, or the weather and the scene of the yard where Li Xiangling lives, it is really a bit rough and undetailed. The description cannot give people that kind of realistic imagination. I deeply regret this. In short, this novel is still very good. It contains the feelings of family and country, the sophistication of people, and growth. I have been looking for novels about the history of the Republic of China recently. If you look at what others have written, they either have some fantasy concepts or the descriptions are simply worrisome. Furthermore, in terms of historical knowledge, really... Like this kind of story that really talks about history, feelings, and growth. I read both history and cool articles. It is very high and very exciting. The review ends here. Thank you for watching (by the way, I will share with you my private collection of pictures😃😄😃)
I don't understand why it's rated so high
Two chapters to persuade people to quit. The protagonist has no brains and looks like it was written by a junior high school student. In the Republic of China, it had to be Zhou Hexuan
Speaking of which, I didn't expect that Tang Wan wanted to make a difference in this world, but others didn't want him to make a difference. He kept causing trouble everywhere, and then let him get involved in one world after another, and finally realized the difference of the Republic of China.
It seems that Tang Wan has a very clear understanding of Tang Wan. After all, during the Republic of China, and not in today's society, he had nothing to do, so he could only do soy sauce in the Republic of China.
Tang Wan's introduction to him in this book is just as the name suggests. It was common in the Republic of China. After all, he was a weak scholar who couldn't do heavy work and didn't need much else, so he could only do soy sauce.
Answers to the dialogue between Brother Xun and the protagonist and the dialogue between Chen Kunwu and Hu Banxian in Yongguoshi Wushuang
Maybe we can't serve the country and the people like Chen Kunwu through time travel, nor can we escape unscathed like Zhao Guanhou. But if you can do a few more footbaths and eagle sauce, it will become whiter.
This book gave me a lot of touching and harvesting. At the same time, I was deeply impressed by Wan Zhi's character. I also felt sincere admiration when I saw his growth along the way. Two rare brothers in the world, Qian Erlunzi and Xun; Ju Chang, who always cares about Anhui even though he is thick and thin; a great man who gradually changes from the old era to the new era; Xiang Ling, a companion who will never leave; and groups of pioneers who work hard for the country and the nation. What moved me most was not the feelings of family and country in the book, but the love of life-and-death close friends between Wan Zhi, Xun, and Qian Erluzi, and their consistent love for Xiang Ling, who did not open a harem; and the infinite regret and aftertaste in the end. He failed Xiang Ling, but he did not let down the times. This is the second rare masterpiece that I have read about the Republic of China after Lao Wang's book. I highly recommend it (I originally wrote a lot, but later lost it)
This book will be a hit
If this book is not popular, we have to wonder if people have changed now?
very good
I have only read a book about the Republic of China, which was about party warfare and anti-Japanese war. I don't feel it at all. This book is different. If most people like it, they have almost never watched The Age of Awakening. The events of that year are greatly reflected in the play, but it is mostly just embellishment. The author is different. The life of the people at the bottom is described very vividly, and it seems to have a better look and feel than in the play. I don't know what Lao Wang is about. I have no criticism, but he is full of praise!

A modern person in the period of the Republic of China. He relied on a self-made watch at the beginning and had money for survival in a pawnshop. After Tang Wan, he shaped his own identity. He was born in Nanyang and studied in the West for more than ten years. He respected his parents' orders and returned to his roots and the motherland... And later became acquainted with Lu Xun, Qian Xuan, Shen Qiuming, etc. The author Lu Wei knows the Republic of China very well and has his own opinions. In the Republic of China, the warlords held power and the literati worked to save and strengthen the country. They published ideas for collision and exchange. The power of the pen was sometimes even more powerful than the barrel of a gun. The literati had great reputation, and the warlords would even be wary of you. This has to be said about Brother Xun, a famous figure in the Republic of China. The popular characters in the book are outstandingly portrayed, especially the protagonist Tang Wan. As well as being humorous, passionate and patriotic, a master of literary vests, Brother Xun. Qian Xuan, a straightforward character, patriotic and a master of Chinese studies. It is very graphic, making the literati and politicians of the Republic of China seem to be in front of their eyes. Reasons for evaluation recommendation: The author has a good understanding of the characters and features of the Republic of China, and writes about the dire straits of the people living in that era. The laughter and curses of the literati of the Republic of China, the patriotic thoughts and suggestions of strengthening the country, and the dirty calculations of politicians, foreigners and warlords, give a strong sense of the times. Outside the book, you will feel how the advanced literati of that era were burdened with pressure and wanted to save and strengthen the country. Under the influence of the friends of the Republic of China, the protagonist was hurt by the harsh changes in the situation of that era, which hurt our hearts. It also describes the protagonist Tang Wan, who saves people and disasters, changes people's livelihood and well-being, and leads the new culture to change the ideological liberation of the people. The rhythm is great! But the emotional line is slightly delayed, which makes us readers can't help but worry about Tang Wan. Xiang Ling is such a good girl! Ah! If you like the literature of the Republic of China, you must go and read it! Two more novels written about the Republic of China are recommended: "The Age of Awakening" and "The Rise of the Literary Heroes of the Republic of China".
