Seven Pages of Past Events
by Apple Poplar
About This Novel
The first creatures never learned to remember. That is the ancient past where all past events have been forgotten. The flowing water originates from the high mountain Augustin in the center of the earth, carries the past of the entire earth and returns to the sea, pours into the back of the world, and flows back to the top of the World Tree. At the top of the giant tree, the water of the past gathered into a wide lake called time. The God of Ending walks on the lake, picking up water droplets containing the most dazzling past events and placing them in the sky. When the water droplets turn to the other side of the world, they are the stars that living creatures see. The God of Ending walks on the lake, and the stars rush past before his eyes. After the creatures learn to remember, they carve the past events on tree trunks, or remember them in their hearts, or recite them to the gods. But they still can't gather all the past, there are still past events flowing into the lake of time with the flowing water. One day, the giant trees that support the world will no longer be able to bear the weight of the past. The sky is shattered, the sea water is flowing, and the gods of the end are coldly waiting for the end of the world above the ever-expanding time. Even if they are scattered, people must find all the past events if they want to restore this declining world. The annals of history preserved by humans, the legends meditated by elves; some are hidden deep in the bottom of the deep sea, or some are running in the night. The seven-page witch recited quietly. People who are about to embark on a journey are never prepared. The torrent of fate always swept in before they knew it, pushing them into the past.
