He came to the world of pirates through forbidden experiments and possessed a captured and seriously injured pirate from the navy warship that Crowe faked his death. He temporarily obtained a navy status by modifying Monka's memory to recuperate. He then used necromancy magic to confront Crowe who came to silence him, and made his body into a black knight.
