About This Novel
I'm often embarrassed when people ask me what I do. After all, my hand is still in the other person's pocket. There may be a silver coin in the hand, or there may be a loaf of bread, but it cannot be an IOU. How can a thief steal something and still write an IOU? That's right, I can't possibly tell him that I'm a thief, right? Anyway, the other person didn't ask this question seriously. Usually he would call the guard before I could answer, and then the sheriff would lead the charge and try to cut off my hand. It doesn't happen often, but this business doesn't last long. I knew it, so I had to change my job. The business scope of thieves and assassins largely overlap, but they do not organize public recruitment. When dealing with assassins, you have to leave half of your life to luck first, and the other half to poison and traps. Well, anyway, compared to the "trouble" I have, rushing into the Assassin's Guild office for an interview is nothing.
