Nightmare Puzzle
About This Novel
Wu Hu was originally an ordinary urban youth, living an ordinary and regular life, with his beloved girlfriend Long Linmin and a group of close friends. However, one night, he entered a strange world in his sleep. The sky in this world is a strange blood-red color, the streets are deserted and dilapidated, and every gust of wind seems to carry the wail of the dead. In his dream, he saw Long Linmin and his friends in a desperate situation, being besieged by a group of ferocious-looking monsters that exuded a putrid smell. Those monsters had sharp claws and fangs, and their roars made Wu Hu's eardrums hurt. Wu Hu was anxious and tried his best to save them, but every time he was about to succeed, he would suddenly wake up and return to the real world. At first, Wu Hu thought it was just a nightmare and didn't take it to heart. But in the days that followed, the same dream kept repeating, and the scenes in the dream became more terrifying and real. At the same time, some bizarre things began to happen in real life. Wu Hu found that the behavior of Long Linmin and his friends became more and more weird. Their eyes were empty and they always avoided answering Wu Hu's concerns and inquiries. Wu Hu tried to find the answer, but found that all the clues pointed to a mysterious organization in the end. This organization was secretly carrying out an evil plan, but after finding the body of his lover and friend, Wu Hu finally suffered a complete mental breakdown and became crazy. Sometimes he giggled, sometimes he cried bitterly, muttering "I've been rescued, I've been rescued", but he could never return to his normal self again.
