I didn't expect the author to be a teacher.
I was wondering if your colleagues would die if they knew you were writing a novel.
The druid setting is very good and goes well with the elven text. But the first Pokémon Bulbasaur

It's a bit confusing how much the protagonist knows about Pokémon and how old he was before he traveled through time. It feels like the protagonist only knew there were Pokémon before traveling through time but had not seen them, otherwise many things should be clearer. He also has a temperament that matches his age, more like an aborigine. Of course, I understand what you said about him being in junior high school before time travel, but you have to make it clear in the article.
