About This Novel
In 1903, in the mountainous areas of northern British India, strange rumors began to spread - someone disappeared instantly in full view of the people, leaving no trace. The official blamed it on ferocious beasts, while the people whispered a mythical name such as "Shedin". In 1905, a 300-man British column was almost wiped out in the dense forest. The survivors' crazy murmurs made the legend even more ferocious.
