First of all, the author should know a lot about music and symphony. I learned a lot after reading this book, and I know a lot more about this aspect. But I am tone-deaf, so I don't know much about music at all, so when I was reading, the author mentioned some professional vocabulary, and I had to look it up myself. There are many places in the article that should be common sense to the author, but in my opinion they are very confusing. For example, before the performance, the protagonist asks the oboe to give a standard pitch. I'm very curious as to why. The comments understand that reality is given by the oboe. But I wanted to know why it was an oboe, and then I checked it myself and found out why. First, it is inconvenient to tune the oboe on site, so it is used as the standard. Second, the oboe has stable timbre and strong penetrating power, making it easier to find among many sounds. This is my personal summary after reading it. Another example is that the origin and reason of the competition system are not mentioned, and then why the second team wears vests to compete. Why can't one college send two teams? In many places, the comments of each character highlight the protagonist's calmness, rich experience, and steady typhoon. But there is no musical perspective. From a professional perspective, what is so great about the protagonist? The interpretation of music by the band he conducts is different from others.
