Depth of Despair
by It's Okay If I Can't Remember My Name
About This Novel
At the scene of the car accident, Zhang Chenlin drove and killed a man who committed suicide. The body was so miserable that he couldn't bear to die with eyes open, so he called the police. However, the body that the police saw and the body that was photographed on his cell phone was completely different from what he saw with his naked eyes. The same corpse, he saw a dead person, but the police saw only a dead dog. "It's not a human, it's just a stray dog. You're also unlucky. You should take care of your own insurance." But... Does a dead dog carry a cell phone with him?

Is it possible to use the face that simulates the appearance of death to invite the ghost that does not exist now to suppress the ghost?
Come to see smart people, not fools
Very good setting, a rare piece of pure suspense and weird writing
Among the weird stories that are all about killing monsters and upgrading, this novel that retains more of the original horror atmosphere is unique.

It's terrifying to think about it, it's terrifying

The writing is relatively immature, but the original horror suspense is barely watchable.

69 points. A good book in the weird genre. It is currently relatively short, no cheats, and the plot and writing are good. The protagonist drives and kills the previous host of the curse, and is parasitized by the curse. The curse will kill the protagonist's relatives and slowly transform the protagonist into a ghost. The protagonist is looking for ways to save himself, and when he finds a mage, he discovers that practicing spiritual practice is just trying to survive by simulating ghosts. At present, I have written that the protagonist uses TikTok to ask the ghost to recognize him as his father. Later, it may be more interesting to use magic to defeat magic.

The author's description of the horror atmosphere is very good, but the protagonist is a bit too mediocre. On the contrary, the "transformation" that appears later is more sharp and exciting, and the author's writing style is also a bit white. The highlight of this book is that ordinary people struggle to survive in the face of strange dangers, but the label of the work is after all, urban superpowers. If in the later period, as the protagonist's ability improves, there will be a scene of tearing apart evil spirits with his hands, the scary atmosphere will be greatly reduced. Currently it is above food and grass.
