About This Novel

The last surviving human being on earth struggled every day, struggling with all his strength, struggling to stay away from the black light of the death scythe... Finally, he collapsed and leaned against a big tree, without any trace of life. Only a diary in his hand was still singing a sad song in the wind. There is such a sad passage at the end of the diary: "There is nothing wrong with each of us pursuing progress. The mistake is that each of us is separated from our roots - nature. Nature has given us human beings a chance to be reborn, but we are already rotten trees without roots. We can only rot in the soil and become nutrients, or dissipate with the wind and turn into dust..."
