Strange Anecdotes in City Corners
by Not A Hero
About This Novel
Horror and funny novel setting: "Strange Things in the Corner" Taking "the unpopular corners of Chinese cities" as the stage, each issue focuses on a neglected urban space (such as the underground storage room of an old community, a tailor shop in an urban village, a late-night tea room in the CBD, etc.). The opening chapter uses a gloomy atmosphere to render the "horror incident". Protagonist setting ? Not a hero: A 30-year-old "city corner shop blogger" who appears to be greedy for money and a coward, always breaking into "haunted houses" for traffic, but in fact has a strong sense of empathy - he can understand the "complaints" of old objects, see through the "minor grievances" behind strange things, and solves "horror incidents" in outrageous ways every time (such as installing voice-activated lights in a haunted storage room, sewing new clothes on the model of a tailor shop who is causing trouble).
