The beginning is modeled after a foreign TV series. I have watched that TV series and found the book a bit boring and not to my taste!

It's so procrastinating. It's just a jumble of words.
Why does the beginning of the plot sound like a vampire?
It feels like watching TV, the plot is too cliche and nothing new.
