Self-Deletion

In a world where people trade away their pain for happiness, change bodies to escape death, and use foresight to manipulate the future, a good-for-nothing who refuses to forget his pain follows the flow of time in search of the truth, hoping to find his sister, who has been washed into a stranger. Then he discovers that the person who rules everything looks exactly like him.
