After Becoming a Sent-Down Youth, I Fell in Love at First Sight

Finding love in a barren era, a young intellectual's romance that travels through time and space.

When a modern soul finds herself trapped on the Loess Plateau in 1974, she searches for poetry amid hoes and wall posters, while his awkward devotion becomes the strongest liquor of all.

Fate brings two people from different worlds together. Is it a clash of eras, or a deliberate act of destiny? When a secret diary holds the future and the worker-peasant-soldier college entrance exam points toward separation, one bold choice reveals the mystery behind a love that has spanned thirty years.

This is a romantic ode growing wild on barren soil, dedicated to every soul unwilling to be defined by their times.
