Longing Across Two Lifetimes

Memories can be erased, but how can you wipe away the longing carved into your soul?

In another world, Su Zhan lived with Lu Jingyuan and gave birth to their son, Lu Nianzhan. When her final chance to return home came, she chose to go back to the parents who had waited years for her.

She vanished as a glimmer of light, taking all her memories with her and leaving her beloved and young son trapped in endless longing.

Back in the modern world, she spent half her life alone, then inexplicably adopted a girl and named her Su Nianzhan.

She didn't know why she always woke from midnight dreams in tears, or why there was an empty space in her heart that could never be filled.

The stars revolved, the array activated, and a glimmer appeared on the far shore.

At last, the people in the ancient courtyard saw her in another world, quietly spending the rest of her life with another Nianzhan.

The two worlds gaze at each other from afar, never to meet again for all eternity.
