The Seventh Day of the Seventh Month: If You Dare to Claim Me, I'll Follow You

Xiao Jin and Wen Shuyao spent four years together on their university campus, going from youthful innocence to deep devotion. They thought that once they weathered the trials of youth, they could spend the rest of their lives together. But fate took a cruel turn. To curry favor with the powerful, Wen Shuyao's parents insisted that she marry Young Master Wang from the neighboring Wang family.

The wedding was set for the seventh day of the seventh lunar month, the day when families across the land celebrated the Qixi Festival. For Wen Shuyao, it was a shackle. She fought desperately, arguing with her parents again and again, only to have them threaten to kill themselves. Faced with her hysterical parents, she felt utterly helpless. In the end, unable to resist the bonds of family, she could only agree to the marriage with a heavy heart.

Her heart aching, she tearfully broke up with Xiao Jin. Those words shattered the passion they had shared for years. She hid how much she still cared, buried her love deep inside, and let herself walk step by step toward a wedding she did not want.

On the grand wedding day, red silk filled the sky and the guests packed the hall. Wen Shuyao wore her wedding dress, but there was not a trace of joy on her face, only deep despair. Just as the ceremony was about to begin, a tall figure pushed through the commotion and burst in.

It was Xiao Jin. He had not given up, and he refused to accept defeat. Overcoming every obstacle, he came alone, determined to reclaim the woman he had loved for four whole years. The Qixi wedding banquet was suddenly swept by a storm. With the chains of family she could not break on one side, and the man who had risked everything to come for her on the other, what path would she choose?
