Born with worthless Five-Element meridians, he was a lowly servant at a border-town inn, trampled and humiliated by everyone. Then, by chance, he found a broken jade talisman and used it to purify poisonous waste, turning the tables on his enemies. Everyone thought he was using trash to fuel an unstoppable rise to power. Little did they know, this immortal estate was a cultivation vat set up by an ancient Dao Ancestor. Every drop of pure spiritual energy he absorbed was ripening him into the perfect vessel for the Void Demon to descend into! As the gods and buddhas in the heavens looked down on this lamb awaiting slaughter, he raised his broken sword and drained the boundless golden bodies of the heavenly gods and buddhas!
