A Tart, Sweet Kiss

Song Shiyu had once been the light Wen Ruan pursued, heedlessly, for three years in her youth.

He was noble and dazzling, the favored son of heaven in everyone's eyes.

But shortly before graduation, she threw a cruel lie at him to his face: "I only chased you for fun. Don't take it seriously."

When Song Shiyu begged her to stay, abandoning all dignity, she ended things with him without a second thought.

They met again three years later at Wen Ruan's mother's funeral.

She had become the arranged-marriage partner of his nephew.

Now the head of the Song family, Song Shiyu's expression turned cold as he warned her in front of everyone: "Don't even dream of entering the Song family home."

He hated her for how heartless she'd been back then and repeatedly tried to stop the marriage.

But as he watched her stand her ground, he kept losing control, consumed by jealousy and falling apart. When the truth finally came out, all his hatred crumbled.

He pressed her against the wall, his eyes red.

"You chased me for three years before. Now it's my turn to chase you. If three years isn't enough, I'll give it seven. If seven isn't enough, then I'll chase you for the rest of my life."
