A Tart, Sweet Kiss

Song Shiyu was once the dazzling light Wen Ruan pursued without hesitation for three years in her youth.

He was elegant and brilliant, the darling of the heavens in everyone's eyes.

But just before graduation, she threw a cruel lie at him to his face: “I only pursued you for fun. Don't take it seriously.”

Even as Song Shiyu begged her to stay, throwing away his dignity, she ended things with him without a second thought.

They meet again three years later, at Wen Ruan's mother's funeral.

She has become engaged to his nephew in a marriage alliance.

Now the head of the Song family, Song Shiyu's expression turns cold as he warns her in front of everyone: “Don't even think about entering the Song family home.”

He resents her for how heartlessly she treated him back then and repeatedly tries to stop the marriage alliance.

But as he watches her stand firm, he keeps losing control, consumed by jealousy and falling apart. When the truth finally comes to light, all his hatred crumbles.

He pins her against the wall, his eyes red.

“You chased me for three years. From now on, I'll chase you. If three years isn't enough, then seven. If seven isn't enough, then I'll spend my whole life.”
