A Tang Dynasty Demon Immortal, Beginning with Mastery of Thunder Magic

After dying unexpectedly, Liu Chang transmigrates into a mythic Tang dynasty where no immortals or Buddhas exist among mortals, but demons do.

In the first year of the Zhenguan era, Emperor Taizong of Tang, Li Shimin, ascends the throne. Drawing on the fortune of the realm and its people, he breaks through into the Dao and cultivates a true Dharma form.

That same year, the emperor summons qi cultivators from across the land to destroy mountainside shrines and eradicate evil spirits.

Liu Chang panics... because he is one of those evil spirits.
