A Tang Dynasty Demon Immortal, Beginning with Mastery of Thunder Magic

After dying unexpectedly, Liu Chang transmigrated to a mythic Tang dynasty where there were no immortals or Buddhas among mortals, but demons and monsters did exist.

In the first year of the Zhenguan era, Emperor Li Shimin ascended the throne. Drawing on the fortune of the nation and its people, he broke through into the Dao and cultivated a true dharma body.

That same year, the emperor summoned qi cultivators from across the realm to destroy mountains and temples and eradicate demons.

Liu Chang panicked... because he was one of those demons.
