Demonfall is a game about the war between humans and demons, in which players save the world.
After Liao Yu successfully clears the game, he gets the ultimate achievement: “Unforgivable Villain,” which infuriates him.
So what if I stole a few vehicles from passersby to get around?
So what if I opened a few treasure chests in other people's homes?
So what if I infiltrated the Divine Cult and stole... borrowed your heirloom for a little while?
This is blatant slander!
Utterly shameless slander!
“Without me working so hard to save the world, how would you people have stood a chance against the invasion of the demonfolk from beyond? How else would you have banished and sealed the demons in those barren chaos rifts?”
[Demon King summoning ritual detected. You have been selected and will soon descend into the Chaos Rift.]
Liao Yu: “...!?”
Blade Demon Apad: “I saw a sea of blood behind the new Demon King. Even I cannot match such a terrifying record of slaughter.”
Greater Demon Heracles: “An extremely terrifying resentment from others has gathered around our lord. In all the history of the demonfolk, I have never seen anything like it!”
Wise Demon Leon: “Silence! Watch your words! There is no doubt that the new Demon King is unprecedentedly powerful. This is our most promising chance ever!”
Then, in the desolate Chaos Rift where they had been banished, a million demons bowed their heads in submission and raised a deafening cheer to Liao Yu, standing on the platform.
“Please lead us, my lord. For the survival of the demonfolk, let us fight once more!”
