Liao Ji has had plenty of exes.
But they were all pixel characters in a post-apocalyptic character-raising game.
A total min-maxer, Liao Ji would strip each character of their gear and take back their resources as soon as they fell out of the meta, then relegate them to the back lines as warehouse keepers and give all the good stuff to the new, stronger characters.
Of course, Liao Ji always insisted that this was only temporary, and that he was doing it to beat the game and save the post-apocalyptic world from imminent doom!
Unfortunately...
These “pixel characters” didn’t seem to see it that way.
After Liao Ji relied on his strength-above-all mindset and careful resource management to fulfill his mission as a “savior,” eliminate the source of corruption in the wasteland, and become the first player to achieve a perfect clear,
he unexpectedly transmigrated into the game’s New Game Plus.
He’d thought he’d be able to take off running and live a carefree life, but Liao Ji soon realized that things weren’t quite what he’d imagined.
