Human history spans just over a million years, while creatures with histories of tens of millions of years, such as crocodiles and turtles, have barely changed. Mosquitoes trapped in amber millions of years ago are hardly different from mosquitoes today.
Dolphins and apes haven't evolved even a fraction as much as humans. Why did humans evolve so quickly while other species changed so slowly? This contradicts the theory of evolution. What caused the gap in human evolution? Were our genes modified? Or were humans originally invaders? Or perhaps...?
