Lu Mingfei: The Return of the Grim Reaper

Lu Mingfei, captain of Squad Three in the Thirteen Court Guard Squads, an unparalleled prodigy of the Shin’o Academy, and the Soul Reaper promoted to captain faster than anyone in Soul Society. After Aizen betrayed Soul Society, Lu Mingfei defeated him. But just as Aizen fell, Lu Mingfei returned to that familiar classroom.

Now that his inferiority and cowardice are gone, Lu Mingfei has risen to the top of Shilan High School’s “Scum Who Deserve to Die” list.

In Bronze City, Lu Mingfei raises his Zanpakuto and stands face-to-face with Norton on his throne.

On the overpass, Odin sits astride Sleipnir, his eight-legged horse, gazing at the upright figure before him. Lu Mingfei’s golden eyes light up as he watches the false god with a cold stare. The solemn scene feels like the beginning of a funeral.

Odin finally raises Gungnir, ready to hurl the spear of destiny.

But it’s only fate. Lu Mingfei raises his blade. “Bankai!”
