Mountain Folk

Gu Shuixiu transmigrated to a poor, remote mountain village and, through a twist of fate, married Dong Chenghu, a hunter. The couple supported one another through thick and thin, turning their life together into a poem, going from having nothing but four bare walls to owning a house, farmland, and mountains. They rose from powerless commoners at the bottom of society to members of a reclusive noble clan. Step by step, the two of them created a miracle of their own.
