The Jade Emperor of Heaven: “Yang Xuan, we’re both cultivators of the Daoist school. What do you mean by suddenly showing up in my Heavenly Court to drag my soul away?”
The Tathagata Buddha of the West: “Yang Xuan, even if we aren’t of the same school, is it really appropriate to drag my soul to the Underworld and fry me in oil?
Ksitigarbha, our Buddhist patriarch, is still working down there.”
Yang Xuan: “Sorry. From now on, I call the shots in the Underworld.”
