This Star Only Wants to Study

[Campus entertainment, one female lead, lighthearted daily-life comedy]

Pu Tong, a minor celebrity, transmigrates into the body of a student. Having seen how murky the entertainment industry can be, he decides to stay away from it and focus on his studies.

What? His former self was picked for a variety show as an ordinary student?

What the heck, the nation’s sweetheart is going to be his desk mate?

How did someone secretly filming him singing “You, My Desk Mate” get away with it?

I wasn’t singing it for my desk mate, so don’t get the wrong idea! I’m really not secretly in love with her.

…

Later, top-tier star Pu Tong turns down the drama and film academies and quietly enrolls at Peking University…

Sorry, fans. I really just want to focus on my studies!

(The author is a shut-in, and the worldbuilding is pretty anime-inspired. Please be gentle if it’s not your thing.)
