The Three-Year-Old Can Talk to Beasts, So We Feast on Meat Every Day on the Run

After three years of severe drought, the land lay barren for a thousand miles, and refugees resorted to exchanging children for food along the road.

On the third day without food, the heartless old matriarch of the Lu family blocked Second Branch's path and demanded they abandon Suisui, the three-year-old "little burden" they'd picked up. She claimed that if they kept the extra mouth to feed, the whole family would die in the muddy wasteland.

The Second Branch couple had lost their own little daughter because the old matriarch had refused to pay for medicine. This time they went all in: they would rather leave with nothing and sever ties than let go of the child they were protecting!

No one could have imagined that this three-year-old dumpling, who chewed on her chubby hand and tripped over her own feet, was actually the mountain god ancestor of Qingyang Mountain, newly returned after surviving a heavenly tribulation!

Everyone was waiting to laugh at Second Branch, expecting their lame father and timid mother to die in the wilderness with the child they'd picked up.

Instead...

Suisui toddled over to a patch of grass, and wild rabbits lined up to run into trees. Geese flapped right into her arms. A dry well that had been barren for a hundred years bubbled with fresh spring water. Even the fierce, blind black bear deep in the mountains obediently lay down and brought her an old ginseng root covered in red berries!

During the famine, while others ate clay and tree bark until they vomited blood and the whole village was consumed by anxiety, Second Branch of the Lu family feasted on roast meat and fatty fish every meal under little Suisui's guidance. They worked like mad to make money without missing a meal, and their fortune just kept growing!

By the time the wicked, greedy relatives were as thin as kindling, crying and kneeling in the mud for a bowl of wild-vegetable soup, Second Branch of the Lu family had already built ten thousand mu of fertile farmland and a thousand fortified compounds, and their fame had spread across the land.
