Primordial Origin: Ring of Power

First Origin: The Ring of Condensed Force is a long-form, hard science fiction novel divided into two volumes. The story is set against the discovery of an anomalous glueball decay signal in a particle physics experiment at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The research team develops and leaves behind the hypothesis of the "Five Axioms" as an important legacy. (In this novel, the "Five Axioms" and the idea that "glueballs disprove materialism" are fictional premises and do not represent conclusions of contemporary science.) For decades, generations of researchers continue to investigate the "Five Axioms." At last, in 2056, thirty years later, researcher Ding Zhongxuan and his team reach a startling conclusion after repeated experiments: matter does not produce force; instead, matter forms when the primal force condenses. The obsessions of human consciousness can create fields of mental force, which can transform the body and even create matter for a short time. "Form arises from the mind," "wishes come true," and the shape-shifting powers of ancient myths now have a physical explanation.

The old scientific and philosophical systems collapse, and strange phenomena erupt around the world. Gui Xu, an ancient modified human who survived the end of the previous civilization, arrives on Earth with a warning about the universe's "Origin Threshold Cycle." Another modified human, the Lord of Ash, advocates actively driving the universe toward disintegration and gathers fields of mental force from living beings everywhere. Theoretical physicist Lu Huai is seduced by the idea of escaping the cycle of reincarnation. Humanity forms a joint scientific expedition fleet and sets out for mysterious ancient ruins in the Kuiper Belt, where a tremendous crisis begins to unfold...

The Lord of Ash begins harvesting fields of mental force on multiple colony planets, seeking to trigger the Origin Threshold ahead of time and dissolve all things back into primal force. Ding Zhongxuan refuses to submit to fate, and the interstellar battle begins...
