The Star Deconstructor

Chen Dahai, a boy from a junk planet, awakens the power to dismantle anything. He takes apart a scrap mecha and becomes a fighting grandmaster; he dismantles an ability-enhanced suit and reduces it to paper; he takes apart an interstellar pirate flagship, sending its parts raining down. The entire universe mocks him as unworthy of competing in the Ten Thousand Stars Trials, until he starts dismantling the arrogance of the whole universe, piece by piece.

What he dismantles is not machinery, but the rules of the stars and the sea.
