Becoming the Tyrant of a Tower Defense Game

The tower-defense strategy RPG Empire's Guardian is a diabolical game no one can beat.

I conquered its highest difficulty and saw the true ending. But when I opened my eyes again, I was inside the game.

And not just anywhere: I was in the tutorial, a stage where death is certain from the start and victory is impossible. High-level monsters were closing in, the army was pathetically weak, and I... was only level 1.

"This damn game. I'm going to beat it, because I'm a player who never gives up."
