One Sashimi Knife, Ruling the Whole Academy

I was once the strongest swordsman in the country. I wielded a blade for twenty years, mastering swordsmanship to perfection.

Then one day, I found myself inside the mobile game Miracle's Sanctuary, where I'd spent a little money a few times.

I wasn't a player or an NPC. I had become a background extra without a single line of dialogue.

Even worse, the Sword God Blessing I awakened had an absurdly strict activation condition:

The sword had to be under 30 cm long and under 5 cm wide.

That size... isn't it just a sashimi knife?

So, at the class placement exam at Hwajin Academy,

while the noble scions arrived carrying heirloom swords and epic staves,

I, a special admissions student, pulled a sashimi knife I'd bought on sale at the supermarket out of my bag.

The instructor lost it on the spot. "Who brings a sashimi knife to a class placement exam?"

I calmly replied, "Only the weak care about the quality of their equipment. I never discriminate when it comes to gear."

Then I drew my knife.

Sword God Blessing: A Swing That Cuts Through Anything: Activated.

Space itself split apart.

The highest realm of the sword, the goal that the strongest swordsman in history, the Sword Emperor, had pursued all his life,

was witnessed in the hands of a special admissions student wielding a sashimi knife.

Spending just one minute a day, I became a Sword Saint with a sashimi knife.
