The Supernatural Invades: I Escape the Horror Games by Hearing People’s Thoughts

The day Lin Yu received her diagnosis, the doctor told her she had less than a month to live.

But that very night, her entire apartment building was pulled into a haunted realm. To her astonishment, she discovered she could hear the thoughts of the supernatural beings.

A corridor of mirrors, a hospital of pendulums, an underwater theater: by reading minds, she repeatedly pulled herself back from the brink.

The more she ventured through, the longer she lived and the stronger her abilities became. First she could hear voices, then see images, and then touch fate itself. Her body even began to heal as if by a miracle.

Just as she was celebrating that she would not have to die, she discovered that a man in a black raincoat stood at the end of every instance, waiting with a photo of her.

Had she been chosen, or was she being watched?

Later, supernatural horrors collided across the globe, and all the chosen ones fled in despair.

Lin Yu stood before the collapsing world, clutching that red key. Behind her followed a horde of supernatural beings she had tamed in the instance worlds.

"The doctor said I wouldn't live a month."

"Now I'm teaching the supernatural how to be human."
