Wind, Flower, Snow, and Moon is an ensemble martial arts and immortal-cultivation saga set in the fictional Great Yin Dynasty. The story begins in the Yong'an era, when the dynasty has only just been established and undercurrents are stirring in the martial world. It follows a group of exceptionally gifted young heroes from very different backgrounds. The central protagonist, Li Yunqian, comes from the foremost weapons family in Jiangnan. At sixteen, he has already reached the Free and Unfettered Earthly Realm and wields the world's famed sword, Heart Sword. As he pursues his family's mission and the principles of the martial world, he journeys alongside his childhood sweetheart and fiancée, Lin Ziyue. In a peach orchard, they form a blood pact with their dear friends Xiao Se, Sikong Qianluo, Tang Lian, Tian Ruixin, Lei Wujie, Ye Yun, Duan Jinxuan, Liu Ziyue, and others, becoming the “Ten Peach Orchard Heroes,” bound together in life and death.
The story artfully blends the grudges and rivalries of the martial world with breakthroughs in immortal cultivation. Against the dual backdrop of court intrigue and martial arts conflict, the “Heavenly Enlightenment Protection Order” and the old case of the “Tribute Requisition Rebellion” from eight years earlier set the stage for a vast mystery concerning the dynasty's fate and the pinnacle of martial arts. The ten youths set out from the peach groves of Jiangnan, each displaying their strengths as their paths converge and diverge. They grow and transform through grand adventures, rising from newcomers to the martial world to renowned Sword Immortals, Spear Heroes, kings of hidden weapons, and masters of poison. Their loyalty, choices, and sacrifices together compose an epic of youthful passion.
This is more than the martial journey of ten people. It is a sweeping tale of a generation defending its beliefs, seeking the truth, and reaching the highest heights of martial arts in a turbulent age. The wind rises over Jiangnan's sea of flowers, snow falls upon the palaces of Heavenly Enlightenment, and the moon shines on the road through the martial world, until all become an enduring legend.
