The 1980s: After Four Years of Cold War, My Husband Brought Home His One True Love

After Wen Jiao married Chen Anzhou, she did only three things: quit school to care for her disabled mother-in-law, raise her younger sister, and wait for Chen Anzhou to graduate from college and come home.

But four years later, the one who came home was Chen Anzhou with his beloved first love, determined to divorce her.

Wen Jiao was heartbroken, but Chen Anzhou turned a blind eye and instead doted on his first love in every way.

Wen Jiao came to her senses and let go. She picked up her textbooks again, went to college, set up a factory, and advanced national defense...

She changed her life and waited for the divorce.

But what was going on with the man who had sworn he would never fall in love with her, yet no longer mentioned divorce?

On his first love's birthday, he took her to set off fireworks;

When his first love was sick, he cooked for her;

Wen Jiao looked at the man's strange behavior. "Chen Anzhou, it's time we got divorced."

"Work's busy today. I don't have time," the man said for the 99th time, using the same excuse.

"Weren't you going to give your first love a proper place in your life?"

The man said softly, "Honey, you are the only one I'll ever give that place to. You're my first love!"

"But." Wen Jiao took out the divorce papers. "Chen Anzhou, I'm the one who doesn't want you anymore."
