Regent King, Prepare to Die

Chu Yuyuan transmigrates into the useless fourth younger brother of the Emperor of the Great Yong Empire, and through a twist of fate becomes regent.

He rids the empire of internal troubles and steadies the imperial court. Beyond its borders, he pacifies the southern frontier, subdues the northern plains, and brings the western Hu tribes to heel. The eight corners of the world submit, and envoys arrive from every land. Regent Chu Yuyuan commands a million troops, has a host of brilliant strategists at his side, and holds power over the entire court. When he rages, the realm trembles; when he rests, the realm is at peace.

In the tenth year of Yuanhe, at the young emperor's coming-of-age ceremony, civil and military officials kneel and demand that the regent die.
