After three years in exile, Xu Shiyan finally returns from Qiongzhou Island, a place crawling with villains.
Back at the Xu family home, her brothers despise and look down on her, her parents treat her coldly and ignore her, and even her childhood sweetheart of a fiancé can't wait to break off their engagement.
Everyone sees her as a wicked woman who crawled out of hell, until she wins the favor of Bo Jinke, the leading socialite in the capital and head of the Bo family, and becomes Mrs. Bo.
The man takes her hand, his voice tender and affectionate. "Hell, you say? My darling, then I'll plant a field of red spider lilies for you."
Later, when the past of that island of villains comes to light, people are stunned to realize that the wicked woman they judged had already left flowers blooming in her wake all along.
