Told from the perspectives of three teenagers, this story offers a full portrait of the confusion and uncertainty young people face as they grow up, in all their relationships with themselves, their friends, their families, and society. Each of them awkwardly and unsteadily confronts problems and obstacles they have never faced before. Anxious as they grow, they keep searching for their true selves, exploring their deepest emotional needs and those of others, and breaking through the different selves hidden within them. Gradually, they come to understand the pains and challenges of growing up, endure the trials and hardships that come with every stage of growth, and embrace every imperfect version of themselves. In the end, they set out on the path to accepting who they are as they grow, with stars and seas filling their eyes, their steps, and their hearts.
