Three years ago, Ning Shu used the Duke of Zhen's connections to get Shen Yueting sent to war, willingly staying in the capital to care for her parents.
Three years later, Shen Yueting returned in triumph after making a name for herself. She decisively broke off her engagement to Ning Shu, claiming she wanted to pursue true love!
Ning Shu promptly tore up the engagement contract, mounted his warhorse, raised his spear, and set out to restore the glory of the Duke of Zhen's household!
This time, the dynasty's prodigy has returned in full force!
When Ning Shu rode proudly across the land, Shen Yueting ran to him in tears, crying, “Ning Shu, I was wrong. You're my true love. Let's go back to how things were!”
Ning Shu: “Get lost!”
