On the night the Xiuxian constellation's meteor shower erupted, a super typhoon, the strongest in fifteen years, struck Fucheng.
After the storm passed, at two in the morning, Wen Ying stepped out of an elevator and unexpectedly entered a mysterious space.
It was luxurious and extravagant, filled with advanced technology.
The owner of the room, Xu Huizhou, claimed to have changed the world's technological foundations and become famous worldwide. Wen Ying had never heard of him.
Looking out at a futuristic world utterly unlike the one she knew, she was certain this was Fucheng on the very same day, and yet it felt so unfamiliar.
After that stormy night, Wen Ying and Xu Huizhou were forced into each other's lives.
The upheaval brought on by the storm seemed impossible to quell.
